Leah
Leah is a stay at home mother of two boys; Silas and Isaac. When Leah isn’t being a short order chef, maid, perry care expert, taxi and personal assistant she’s doing…well…nothing. It’s rather time consuming.
Leah’s son Silas has autism. This had greatly changed her world, but in a way it’s better. Autism can be a much bigger blessing than anything else. Leah loves enjoying all the blessings autism is to her and her family. Silas, obviously, is a really cool little fellow.
Before children took over her life Leah was a hairdresser. She enjoyed all things musical, reading books, animals, lazing around, sleeping in, going on random adventure. She’s pretty sure she’d still enjoy those things if she had more opportunity to do them.
Blogging is something Leah has come to enjoy over the years, a little too much. Leah began The Informal Matriarch the winter of 2007 and blogged religiously. The summer of 2009 Leah decided to take a 4 week break from everything computer and…well, she found the real Leah. That’s when she decided the computer should only be a one day a week thing and simply by adding an “s” The Informal Matriarchs was born.
