On January 21st 2007 Leah wrote her first post as The Informal Matriach.  A friend had talked her into it.  She didn’t expect it to turn into what it did, she didn’t expect it would keep her in touch with her family, she didn’t expect it would be so addicting!!  After almost 3 years of blogging on a daily basis, Leah needed a change.  She took 4 weeks off the computer and realized life was much better.  So she invited some new writers and they became The Informal Matriarchs.
